The Pro 3 SP-XC3 (Straight pull) wheelset has been designed specifically with weight saving in mind. To achieve the sort of competitive weights required for racing and performance riding, weight has been taken from the hub and rotor - instead of using fragile, overlight components in the rim and spokes.

Product Details
The resulting wheel is a perfect mix of strength to weight, which has already been taken to many race wins, including the National Championship Title - and is wheel of choice for the British Cycling Team, Hope's XC racer Paul Oldham, Scott UK’s Nick Craig and Lapierre rider Will Longden.
These are lightweight XC & race orientated wheels. We suggest a rider weight limit of 85kg. This is only a guideline, but common sense should be used with regards to the type of riding they will be used for.
The 3 fixed arms on the hub help to create a stiff mounting point for the rotor, reduce weight and help to dissipate heat effectively. The hubs use stainless steel bearings and uses the proven ratchet system as used in the Pro2 and other Pro3 ranges.
Rim choice is again available in this wheelset. DT Swiss 4.2 or No Tubes 355 - and for 2009 we are building and hand finishing in our Barnoldswick Factory using Sapim Sprint double butted spokes and brass Polyax nipples.
The No Tubes 355 offers the rider the choice of running tubeless as well as a superlight overall weight. This wheel screams FAST! The DT Swiss 4.2 gives excellent all round XC performance with a proven lightweight, high quality rim. Both options available in 24
hole drilling.
Wheels are available individually or as a pair and come complete with custom ‘Hoops’ etching on the hub, rim tapes (DT only), spare spokes and nipples and rim stickers. Both wheels are QR and the fronts are supplied with a 15mm conversion (NOTE: this hub cannot
be converted to 20mm).
Wheels are packaged in purpose made wheel boxes to avoid damage in transportation.
